Client Profile
This Texas-based K–12 Independent School District supports students and educators across multiple campuses. With growing data needs and aging infrastructure, the district needed a modern backup solution that would scale and provide stronger data protection.
The Challenge
The district’s backup environment was aging and no longer met their operational or security needs. They were operating with end-of-life backup hardware and had no capability to expand capacity or enhance recovery protocols. A lack of cyber resilience also put them at risk in the event of an attack or data loss event.

The project began in March 2025 and was designed to align with the school district’s availability. As the refresh progressed, the opportunity to integrate a CR vault was identified, and Weaver adjusted the scope to accommodate it. The change was implemented efficiently with Dell support.

The district is on track to gain stronger backup security, faster and more reliable recovery capabilities, and a scalable infrastructure built for future needs. By modernizing hardware and integrating Dell™ Cyber Recovery Vault, the solution is expected to enhance compliance, improve cyber resilience, and lower long-term ownership costs.
