Client Profile
A growing Texas-based school district was reassessing its data center strategy in light of rising VMware costs tied to VxRail infrastructure. The district needed a cost-effective, reliable solution that could deliver long-term performance improvements without disruption to ongoing operations.
The Challenge
The Broadcom price increase associated with VxRail prompted the school district to seek a new solution that would provide better value and control over VMware expenses. They needed help determining the best way to continue supporting their virtual environment without being locked into high-cost infrastructure.

The deployment is still in progress, being led by the Services Team at Weaver. The strategic planning has already positioned the district for significant cost savings, with full implementation on the horizon.
Outcomes
The district achieved significant cost savings by reducing VMware licensing and infrastructure expenses. With new datacenter hardware in place, they also experienced improved reliability, enhanced performance, and a lower total cost of ownership.
